Road trip around Norway's Western Fjords 2024

August 25, 2024

This summer, Gavin and I embarked on an unforgettable road trip through Norway’s Western Fjords. Our sleek white electric Polestar quickly became our second home as we immersed ourselves in Nordic culture - embracing the essence of slow living amidst breathtaking natural beauty. From towering waterfalls at every turn to pristine teal lakes and lush forests, each day felt like a new adventure. We spent cosy nights in cabins and days exploring the stunning UNESCO World Heritage fjords. What captivated us most was the incredible diversity of biomes we encountered—transitioning from serene lakes to dense forests and even tundra, the natural beauty of Norway provided the perspective we had been seeking, bringing us calm and clarity. When we weren’t on the road, we indulged in kayaking, relaxing in hillside spas overlooking the fjords, and savouring the incredibly fresh local cuisine paired with delicious cocktails. Our time in Norway left a lasting impression, making this beautiful country feel like a home away from home.
